Resume
The article examines the systemic aspects of the interaction between economic and environmental factors in the development of the agricultural sector of Ukraine’s national economy. The necessity of transitioning to a model of sustainable agricultural production that combines productivity growth, efficient use of natural resources, and minimization of negative environmental impacts is substantiated. The key economic factors influencing value creation in the agricultural sector are analyzed, including investment activity, technological modernization, market conditions, and state support. The main environmental parameters of sustainable sector performance are identified, such as soil resource status, the level of anthropogenic pressure, the degree of production technology greening, and the efficiency of environmental regulatory instruments.
The interdependence of economic and environmental processes is explored, revealing the impact of environmental safety on agricultural product competitiveness, investment attractiveness, and export potential. It is shown that systematically accounting for environmental risks and implementing “green” innovations contributes to enhancing agricultural productivity in the long term. Prospects for improving state policy in sustainable land-use management, stimulating environmentally oriented farming practices, and promoting circular economy mechanisms are outlined. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of adaptive, comprehensive, and cross-sectoral approaches to agricultural development based on economic–environmental synergy.
